For me and Jillian, this is much more than just a job. This is how we are building our future; our future together, as well as with all of you and this community. In the beginning of August we will officially celebrate our first year in business and we couldn’t have asked for a better start.
We definitely gained some interesting experiences and had plenty of tough times. Times that were filled with stress, anxiety, and exhaustion. However, it's been clear that the good far outweighs the bad. We are grateful for the hard times because of the lessons they teach us and the growth they promote, as long as we have the right attitude.
Someone once told me that if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. They also told me that if you only go into business for the money, you are more than likely not going to last. You wont make it through the hard times that are certain to accompany running your own business if you don’t know your purpose, your “why”.
It's funny how things start to make so much sense looking back.
For us, we know why we do what we do and we love it too! I am sure we have all heard the phrase “actions speak louder than words” and that is how we plan on showing our appreciation to our Dykes Pressure Cleaning customers.
